Offenburg, Germany – 5 November 2026 – Mileway, Europe’s leading last-mile logistics real estate company, has agreed a long-term lease extension and expansion with J. Schneider Elektrotechnik SE at Max-Planck-Straße 1 in Offenburg, southern Germany. J. Schneider, which has occupied space at the property since 2019, has expanded its leased area by an additional 2,000 sq m.

The agreement brings J. Schneider’s total leased area to approximately 8,200 sq m under a long-term contract. The additional capacity will support its assembly and manufacturing operations, including the production of printed circuit boards, and a range of power supplies, including high-voltage and plasma systems.

The property is located in Offenburg, an established industrial centre in Baden-Württemberg and a strategic gateway between the Rhine Valley, the Black Forest and neighbouring France. Its proximity to the A5 north-south motorway corridor provides connections to the Rhine-Ruhr and Rhine-Main regions, Basel and the wider Swiss market, as well as Strasbourg and other cross-border markets in France.

The location provides access to labour and business networks across Offenburg and the wider Ortenau district, while supporting the efficient movement of components and finished products across regional and international markets.

The agreement builds on a long-standing relationship between Mileway and J. Schneider and reflects the customer’s continued commitment to Offenburg.

The expansion brings J. Schneider’s storage, production and office functions into closer proximity and supports more streamlined workflows across the site.

Ulrike Haack, Country Director Germany at Mileway, said:

“Supporting our customer’s growth is a key part of Mileway’s approach. In markets where suitable industrial space is increasingly limited, our ability to adapt existing properties to customers’ changing requirements and provide expansion opportunities for occupiers is a real advantage. J. Schneider’s decision to grow its footprint in Offenburg reflects the strength of our customer relationships and the enduring appeal of the region as a base for advanced manufacturing.”

Marco Geiler, Chief Financial and Administrative Officer of J. Schneider Elektrotechnik SE, said:

“Our expansion at Max-Planck-Straße 1 gives us the additional capacity and operational flexibility needed to support the continued development of our company in Offenburg. Bringing more storage and assembly functions together at a location we know well will enable more efficient workflows and support our long-term growth. We value the constructive cooperation with Mileway and look forward to continuing our partnership.”
