Mileway, the leading pan-European last mile logistics real estate company, has signed a 15-year lease agreement with HIZKIA, one of the world’s most prestigious providers of fine art logistics, transport and collection management services, for a c.10,570 sqm warehouse at its Scharenburg 14 property in Sloterdijk, Amsterdam.
The property provides easy access to the A5 motorway in addition to the world-famous Museum Quarter in Amsterdam where several HIZKIA customers are based. Its features include multiple loading docks with dock levellers and ample outdoor and parking facilities. To enhance the company’s logistics, restoration and storage operations, the space will soon undergo extensive renovations including the installation of energy efficient LED lighting, electric vehicle charging stations, new roofing and a refurbishment of the office space.
