London, England – Mileway, the leading pan-European last mile logistics real estate company, has successfully completed its 2025 UK summer internship programme with The Brokerage in the UK.
Since 2022, Mileway has partnered with the social mobility charity to help drive positive change in the workplace and strengthen its inclusive and diverse company culture by providing youth consultancy, reverse mentorship, and training for employees.
Each year, a group of talented interns and work experience students from less-advantaged backgrounds spend ten weeks across Mileway’s UK offices – this year in Cardiff, London, Warrington and Birmingham. The intention is for the emerging talent to gain insights into commercial real estate and the diverse career opportunities the sector presents.
“Inclusion isn’t just the right thing to do – it’s essential to building stronger teams and a better industry. I’m proud of our partnership with The Brokerage and inspired by the talent we welcomed this summer. Their impact was immediate, and their potential is limitless. I’m excited to see how we continue to grow this important work across the UK,” said Andrew Jones, Mileway Managing Director UK & Ireland.
In addition to its internship programme, Mileway employees regularly attend recruitment fairs and host seminars to share insights with The Brokerage’s network on Real Estate as a career choice and to help develop crucial skills in the sector.
