Mileway, the leading pan-European last mile logistics real estate company, and partners have agreed on a 12-year lease with Invio Home, the Italian provider of specialised furniture and interior design logistics and transport services.

The e-commerce provider has taken occupancy of over 3,000 sq m of warehouse and logistics space at San Giuliano Milanese – a flagship property in Mileway’s Italian real estate portfolio. Located in the south-east of Milan, its strategic location in the logistics hub provides easy access to the major infrastructure arteries of Northern Italy, including the A1 and A50.

Michele Lodigiani, Mileway Country Director Italy, said: “We are proud to welcome Invio Home to the Mileway portfolio. As a business focused on optimising its supply chain to ensure a reliable and fast service, Giuliano Milanese is the perfect location, providing them with the direct access to the rest of Italy and Europe they need to ensure continued success.”

Renovated in 2021, the San Giuliano Milanese mixed use property comprises three sections totalling approximately 18,000 sqm. Its key features include over seven loading bays per 1,000 sqm, along with large manoeuvring yards.

Corrado Badalucco, Managing Director of Invio Home, said: “As a specialist e-commerce company, our success relies on creating value for our customers with service they can trust. As experts in last-mile logistics property, the Mileway team understood our needs and what it takes to succeed. They provided the same level of expertise and professionalism that we pride ourselves on. This lease was completed with exceptional speed and efficiency.”

World Capital Group, a professional broker in Italy, served as leasing advisor to Mileway.

Andrea Faini, World Capital Group General Manager, said: “We are pleased to have partnered with Mileway and Invio Home to identify and strengthen their logistics network in Lombardy. Our partnership confirms the great interest of logistics players in last mile property. We are proud to help our clients to identify the most functional properties in the most strategic locations in Italy.”
