London, UK – Mileway, the leading pan-European last mile logistics real estate company, has agreed an additional five-year lease with a premium British organic food grocer experiencing sustainable growth.

Established in 2016 and with ambitions to expand across the UK and Europe, the entrepreneur-led company, and existing Mileway customer, has relocated to larger premises at Parkfield Industrial Estate in Battersea, South West London. The newly-built units D & E cover 5,225 sq ft – more than double the size of its previous premises.

The prime, highly sought-after last mile units are strategically located in close proximity to central London and benefit from strong public transportation links, including two nearby train stations (Battersea Park and Queenstown Road Stations) and bus stops. With an EPC rating of A, the modern specifications and features include forecourt parking with EV charging points for electric delivery vehicles, as well as PV solar panels to generate renewable energy on-site. The units also have electric roller shutter doors, steel portal frames and 6.5 m eaves height.

“Our customers are embracing greener, more energy efficient ways of doing business and so are we. We aim to support their sustainable, long-term growth by providing high-quality space that they need to serve their customers. From an initial lease in 2022 to their latest expansion in the heart of Battersea, we are proud to support the growth of a local business,” said Andrew Jones, Mileway Managing Director UK & Ireland.
