Mileway, the leading pan-European last mile logistics real estate company, today announces it has signed new leases across three properties for over 16,000 sqm, resulting in 100% occupancy of these assets.
Two of the leases are for properties in the logistics hub of Rosersberg, located next to the E4 motorway and one of north Stockholm’s most accessible areas. This is a well-established location for logistics companies due to the area’s excellent infrastructure, mid-way between Stockholm and Uppsala, and in close proximity to Arlanda airport.
The first agreement sees existing customer DANX, a highly specialised “in-night” logistics provider in Scandinavia and the Baltic region, increase its lease by 3,800 sqm to over 6,400 sqm on a long-term basis. This means this property is now fully occupied.
In the second agreement, Envirotainer, also an existing client and a leading air-transportation solutions company for temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticals, has increased its lease by more than 3,000 sqm to over 15,500 sqm, meaning the property is also now fully occupied.
The third lease is for a property in Torsvik, one of the largest and most well-established logistics parks in Sweden, 10 km south of Jönköping. Existing customer, Elgiganten Logistik, one of the largest electronics retailers in the Nordics, has signed a new three-year agreement for 9,600 sqm, having previously rented the space on a short-term agreement.
“We continue to see increasing demand from businesses – both production companies and logistics companies – for well-located high-quality properties.”
