Mileway, the leading pan-European last mile logistics real estate company, today announces it has signed significant long-term leases totalling over 22,000 sqm of space with one new and one existing customer in Sweden.
In Halmstad, Mileway has agreed a long-term lease of more than 11,000 sqm with new customer, Hafa Bathroom Group, one of Sweden’s largest bathroom retailers. The property, which comprises almost 30,000 sqm in total, is located in close proximity to Hafa’s headquarters, which will allow the customer to expand its operations to meet the growing demand for its products and maintain its position as market leader. As part of the lease agreement, Mileway is upgrading the premises with LED lighting, new dock doors and improving employee facilities at the site.

Mileway has agreed another long-term lease with existing client, NTEX, the Gothenburg based Swedish logistics company. The agreement sees NTEX take 11,350 sqm of space in a property located along the inner ring road in Malmo, and builds on Mileway’s relationship with the customer who already leases three assets in the Gothenburg area. Encompassing a high-quality logistics terminal and ancillary office space, the property will allow NTEX to bring together under one roof two existing facilities that were 30 km apart from each other. As part of the lease agreement, an upgrade of the building will be made to enable even more efficient use of the facilities for NTEX’s needs.
Mileway has been rapidly growing its presence, and portfolio of last mile properties in Sweden. Across the country, Mileway now supports the needs of its customers through more than 160 properties totalling 1.6 million sqm and with teams in Stockholm, Malmö and Gothenburg.
