Warrington, UK: Mileway, the leading pan-European last mile logistics real estate company, is supporting the growth of its long-term customer, Aimia Foods, with an additional c. 26,000 sq ft (c. 2,500 sqm) of warehouse and office space at the now fully occupied Boston Park in Haydock, Northwest England.
This expansion increases Aimia Foods’ footprint to 150,000 sq ft (13,000 sqm), allowing the food and drinks manufacturer to meet rising customer demand while streamlining operations with centralised storage and distribution. The new ten-year lease means that Aimia Foods now occupies two adjacent units at the business park, enhancing its capacity to efficiently serve retail, food service, vending, cash & carry, export and direct-to-consumer markets.
Reducing last mile delivery times, the business park is strategically located less than 30 minutes from Liverpool and Manchester, with direct access to J23 of the M6 motorway. Unit 7 comprises office space and a modern detached warehouse featuring 10m eaves, three dock-level loading doors and four level-access loading doors. The property also benefits from self-contained front and rear yards and a separate car park.
“With the team now occupying a total of 150,000 sq ft (13,000 sqm) of premium warehouse and office space, we look forward to continuing to support Aimia Foods’ growth and future ambitions with logistics solutions tailored to their evolving needs,” said Andrew Jones, Mileway Managing Director UK & Ireland.
“An optimised supply chain is essential for us to maintain our reputation as a trusted brand developer, partner and distribution platform; as well as a strategic location that enables us to serve our customers across the UK and export markets. Thanks to Mileway for supporting our long-term and sustainable growth,” said Paul Whitlow, Managing Director at Aimia Foods.
B8 Real Estate and JLL facilitated the deal.
