Copenhagen, Denmark – 30 April 2026 – Mileway, Europe’s leading last-mile logistics real estate company, has signed a series of new leases across its Danish portfolio, demonstrating strong momentum in Greater Copenhagen and other key commercial hubs. Together, the agreements cover more than 40,000 sqm.
Greater Copenhagen remains Denmark’s most important last-mile market, combining the country’s largest population base with dense transport connections across Zealand and into southern Sweden. From Mileway’s locations in the region, occupiers can reach more than two million consumers within a 30-minute drive time.
Demand has been driven by a broad set of occupiers, including companies in the transportation and logistics, consumer and manufacturing sectors, reflecting the broad appeal of high-quality last-mile space in the right locations.
Recent leasing highlights include a 10,000 sqm lease at Herstedøster Industripark in Copenhagen with an international consumer and lifestyle brand company; a 10,000 sqm lease in Aarhus with a construction company and multiple leases totalling more than 20,000 sqm at Priorparken in Copenhagen, with customers in the medical supply and distribution and manufacturing sectors. In particular, Mileway continues to see strong demand for space in Greater Copenhagen, reflecting occupiers’ preference for proximity to the city to shorten delivery routes.
“We continue to see strong leasing interest in well-located last-mile space across Denmark, particularly in and around Greater Copenhagen. Customers are looking for buildings that combine proximity to consumers with efficient operations and strong sustainability features, which our portfolio is well-positioned to provide. In addition to our high-quality portfolio, we also pride ourselves on providing best-in-class customer service,” said Thomas Lauritsen, Mileway Country Director Denmark & Finland.
