- Instabee’s new logistics facility in Denmark adds to the two Mileway warehouses it already occupies in Sweden and the Netherlands
Avedøre Holme, Denmark – Mileway, the leading pan-European last mile logistics real estate company, has agreed a 6,500 sqm lease with Instabee, which operates the consumer-facing brands Instabox and Budbee. The logistics facility is triple the size of Instabee’s previous space and will support its growth ambitions.
The 6,500 sqm warehouse at Kanalholmen 37 in Avedøre Holme is a strategic choice for Instabee as it serves customers across Denmark and internationally. The area is one of the largest business and logistics regions in greater Copenhagen, with direct access to the E20 motorway, the Copenhagen ring roads and airport, as well as the wider Öresund region.
Instabee has seen significant growth in the Danish market and continues to experience increasing demand from merchants and end-consumers alike, driving the need to expand its operational facilities in a strategic location. Instabee is already a Mileway customer in the Netherlands, with a c. 6,500 sqm warehouse in Vianen, Utrecht; and a c. 4,500 sqm warehouse in Stockholm, Sweden.
“We are proud to have supported Instabee’s remarkable growth journey across multiple markets over the years by providing high-quality, strategically located space that meets their evolving needs. Kanalholmen 37 is ideally suited for last mile logistics, given its layout and excellent location. Together with our skilled asset management teams across Europe, we wish the Instabee team continued success in their new premises,” said Mileway Country Director Denmark and Finland, Thomas Lauritsen.
Instabee is focused on consumer-centric deliveries, either door-to-door or via its sophisticated parcel locker network, with location partners including Coop and Føtex in Denmark.
“We have grown immensely in the Danish market in the last year, with increasing demand from end-consumers, new merchants and location partners. With that, we’ve outgrown our current terminal facility. We see this growth as a testament to our dedication to understanding and fulfilling consumer preferences, in addition to our technological and logistical expertise. It’s truly great to be able to offer more flexible and convenient deliveries, and we are only getting started. The location of our new space is ideal for deliveries to western Denmark and the Copenhagen area, while also being well-connected to Sweden and the rest of Europe,” said Instabee Denmark Country Manager, Jenny Coquet.
Instabee will begin operations at Kanalholmen 37 in July 2025.
