Hiring, step by step

Applying for a job should go smoothly. These are the steps we follow in every hiring process.

Frequently asked questions

How long does the process typically take?

The average recruitment process takes around 3 to 6 weeks. Occasionally, the process might take a little longer due to the complexity of the role.

I see there are many roles open on the website, do I need to apply to all of them to maximise my chances?

Our recruiters can see all the roles you apply for. We encourage you to apply for roles that closely match your skills, knowledge and experience and during the interview we can always discuss other possibilities within the organization.

Will interviews be conducted remotely or in an office?

We are trying to meet in the office as much as we can, but to remain as flexible as possible, the setting of interviews will vary on a case by case basis.

How should I prepare for my first call with the Recruiter?

During the first call, we give you a short overview of Mileway and the recruitment process. Before we schedule the interview we want to know the following: Notice period, Salary indication and Fit against the role criteria

When should I resign from my current position?

Congratulations - you got the job! Your offer letter, which you receive after a successful interview process, is the official guarantee of your employment with Mileway. This is sufficient for you to resign from your current role.

Can I start the job in my home country and then relocate?

No, we ask that you be at the location your job is at the day you start.

How long will my personal data be stored?

In line with GDPR regulations, Mileway stores your data for 12 months after your application date. Our internal system will then delete your data automatically after this period.

I applied/ interviewed last year and wasn’t selected. May I reapply?

Absolutely. We understand timing is everything, so please let us know if you’re interested again. Please do reflect on your previous application and the feedback you received to determine if you’ll be a correct match for us the second time around.
